Diwali

Festival of lights.  Really are we going to use more power, help increase pollution, with more noise.   I some times feel the Earth screaming and saying STOP destroying what I have given to you Humans.  Conserve and stop destroying the Earths Resources.  I wish each one of would take time to listen intently and SAVE what we can before its to late.  Help to save the planet and STOP pollution.  Use public transport.  Stop throwing things in the sea / rivers while travelling by trains.  Go Green, ban the use of plastics.  Try to recycle / reuse what we can.  Stop littering from public transports, collect your garbage and throw it in dustbins.  The little we do can go long way.  Help keep our surroundings clean, preserve trees and SAVE ENERGY.  Help to make the world a better place to live in.

Cost of Being Indian

If in Maharashtra, you have to speak Marathi, or else your not from India.  If in North, you have to know hindi or else your not an Indian.  What is it with languages.  When we go abroad people recognize us as Indians, even if we are Indians born and settled abroad.  But in India the language identifies our citizenship.   A Maharashtrian has to know Marathi, a North Indian Hindi or is it Punjabi etc.  A South Indian, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu etc.  Being a part of India is not enough, one has to be a part of a State and know the language too.  What happens to the universal language English,  and our National language Hindi and then thereafter the various states that we come from. Come to think of it  Being Indian is knowing that you belong to your country and love being an Indian.  Jai Hind.

Children

Today we see the need for education.  Education is for Children.  Where is the future, we say the children are the future.  On correcting two girls in the train, during the journey they kept eating and discarding the garbage out of the window.  When I asked them is this what they were thought in school and the mother turned around and said it's not the fault of the children but the railway should arrange for garbage in the compartments.  WOW! that really hit me hard.  That's was all we needed to a crowded train.  Well the future "CHILDREN" are very bleak.  The more we keep our children from their responsibility the harder it's going to get.  Why not inculcate good habits to Children from day one of their education.   Waiting is only making it difficult?

Cleanliness is Next to Godliness

Nature is the true meaning of a clean environment.  Where is the beautiful greenery gone.  Look around and you'l see what has happened.  The cities that we live in become a concrete jungle.  The greenery is slowly but definitely vanishing.  The pollution level is rising.  Whilst walking on the road one is panting for air.  The levels of temperature  is changing.  The art of living is in nature.  The more we are all chasing the worldly things the more we seem to be running  away from nature.   Passing a sea or river you will find people throwing their garlands and all religious thing into the sea stating that its okay to pollute but not okay to throw it in the dustbin.  Rather dirtying the sea is fine by me where I say CLEANLINESS IS NEXT  TO GODLINESS.   We call ourselves earthlings and the earth is our home, and its fine to destroy what we call our HOME. Make way for a better tomorrow LETS CHANGE OUR WAYS AND PRESERVE NATURE, EARTH OUR HOME.

Noise Pollution

Traveling by train is an adventure.  Today I observed 2 girls conversing in the sign language as they were dumb and deaf.  Made me realize about SOUND pollution.  Mumbai is a city filled with noise.  The train is one of the best examples, especially the ladies compartment.   Admit we are a over populated city, but can we not hear ourselves.  The amount of noise we make.  Do we need to be a people with no consideration for nature.
